I have seen many dogs in Tibet----
rare ones, common ones, homed ones
and homeless ones
Dogs can be seen everywhere in Tibet
They act alone or get sun in crowds
in front of temples
However, what touches me most
are the dogs which live on mankind’s charity
They look dirty, thin and old
Some of them have only three legs left
Some can only lie on the ground to die
But dogs, the closer friends of mankind
I dare to say that in this world
it’s your happiness to select Tibet
because there is a kindhearted and great race here
While rearing the happiness of yours
They bear all of your bitterness!
